That's good question.

Because it's easier and cheaper.

And I don't think that create Solid Vision will happen any time soon. Create the image is one thing, but Solid Vision is not a static image of cards and monsters. It move and react to what's around and to others cards. It would probably take a lot a programming just for one card, and there are thousands of cards, maybe more, I don't know how many exactly.

How about making tutorials to explain to users how to update their YGOPro themselves by using what's on github? I'm mostly thinking of the mobiles versions since they don't use live updates, but not only.

He understands. Yes a tutorial on how to update ygo for mobile users would be very nice.

of course its getting shut down konami and associating corporations are losing tons of money because majority of competitive players are buying singles and wont buy in bulk like they were a few years ago and dueling systems such as this are assisting in it and plus they will probably come out with an online system you have to pay for or to get cards you have to use the cards i.d. # like on the old video games so we are all screwed

IF YOU NOT COME HERE TO SUPPORT THE GAME SO GET OUT WE WANT THAT THIS GAME WILL NOT SHUT DOWN

Honestly there's nothing NAS can really do to take down YGOpro and Devpro because they are open-source and are much, much harder to take down than DN. Even if NAS took down the download links to the site and the forums themselves it won't matter because someone out there will just share the download links to others and it will happen all over again over and over.

What we are doing is technically piracy but what's stopping others from sharing other download links on different sites as I said even if NAS did go after that certain person that was sharing them?

Unless NAS decided to want to take full control of the whole Internet they are at the mercy of the players and there's nothing really much they can do.

I'm definitely not taking this okay .. Why would you guys remove the apk from the site? This is similar to the time dueling network was shut down .. Konami really thinks nothing of their duelists around the globe .. Because money seems to be there main priority ..

NAS are just like all the stupid people on the gaming industry who only cares about short term return on investment.
They just want you to buy their stuff even if they don't deserve to be bought.

Well people have uploaded download links everywhere. So they just can't download here.

It is unfortunate , but it's usually what happens with alternative projects , where simple interest is to provide a better platform , with more resources where you can freely implement the interests of users and opniões which usually take a long time to be served by a company. ..

I wonder if the latest versions released so far are as follows:
Android : 1.4.13
Windows: 1.033.7 -v2

This platform is awesome, I had already tried other ( YDM here in Brazil, currently outdated and YVD which is quite frankly disappointed to be honest ) , neither was comparable to this . What is happening here seems to be the same as happened with "Chrono Triggger Resurrection"

Just wanted to say that because of this platform , after so long , I bought my first original cards just to play with the people of my state ... I still have a few , some 700 cards ... I used the platform to meet and prepare strategies ... stratospheric point for you Konami , standing ovation for you.

Sorry for the English, I used Google to translate ...

-revolutionary music plays- Brothers, Sisters, and unspecified Others, it's time we ban against the Yu-Gi-Oh oppression and come together as one to continue making people smile with our dueling. We the people create Yu-Gi-Oh, it's existence and breath, it's still here today because of us. We make it. And if Konami, Nas, or any other company tries to take our game from us, we won't surrender, but fight back. Inflict to them what they did to us by tenfold. I know, some people say it's not worth it and quit the game, and our fan-base may be short handed but we can make it work! Do not have fear brothers, their companies may be big and relentless, barraging with lawsuits, but us being the minors, the simple lifes, the COMMONS, this gives us power. They may be large but we are of many. Together, we can lead a revolution to continue to play our dear game YuGiOh, without having to burn our pockets. We have coders, file assigners, and data breakers.

Anyone who'd like to come together and help the people of this game, raise your fist with might, and fury my comrades! For YGOPRO! (mobile) and (PC)

I would suggest it was implemented a networked server or game system , similar to what happened in Counter Strike, where we could choose or enter manually game server ... or something like P2P.

I 'm not a programmer , but I was in such a situation , since the game is multiplatform , for he did not die and the whole legacy and the fans remain in limbo , I think it would take that decision.

Are the servers for android still up? I found an old ygopro apk on my laptop, but when I tried loading it but it said that the resources were not available. If the android servers are up, it would cool if someone upload a link. I apologize if someone has already posted a link, I kinda just skimmed through this thread.

Also I understand that you may have other things to deal with, and I'm not saying you guys have to, but it might help if the FAQ was updated or if you were to pin a thread pertaining to this in the android/ios forums.

Hm, actually, here's a thought.

The beta card system is still live, so generally speaking new cards isn't much of an issue. But what are we going to do when we need a new proper update? What happens then?

I have seen quite a lot of responses like this on youtube and various forums.

Let’s have a look on the viewpoint of those “business elites” of game industry:

First, a large fanbase who doesn’t contribute to the profit of a company is completely useless. Only those that can afford and are willing to pay are meaningful. Ironically, such portion of potential customers will be drawn to YgoPro due to the existence of a large community for online card duel.

Therefore, YgoPro becomes a hindrance to any upcoming commercial online dueling platforms. So, the simple solution is to destroy all the existing communities of these free competitive products, forcing the potential customers to jump ship to the future commercial platforms.

Simply put, just destroy the community and restart it from scrap to build up a new community dedicated to pay for online card duel.

Oh, and let’s talk about the exciting parts of probable business models of the online platform in future. It’s likely to be free-to-pay, but pay-to-win models, e.g. crappy booster pack, $1, decent booster pack #1, $20, legendary booster pack, $50, ultimate booster pack, $200, etc.

For mobile counterpart, a pay-to-continue or facebook sharing mechanism like Candy Crush can be added as well.

To add spice to the competitive atmosphere (also boost yummy profit), add some rare cards which are extremely hard to obtain (e.g. one-time release only). Add rules such that losers will lose cards to the winner, and card auction-house for trading between players using real money, with a portion going to the main developer.

Last, it needs not to be the main company, just let others to handle the dirty jobs of pissing off the existing fanbase, for now.
