Keep in mind, the AI is not included in the auto-update feature. You have to manually update the AI; go to the AI Updates sticky and follow the instructions in the first post.

As for the crashing issue, it seems to vary from computer to computer. My experience has been that it's usually stable for the first AI duel of a session, but not afterwards. Regardless, last time anyone reported, the cause for this issue was still unknown. Once it is found, it will likely require a core update (that is, an update to the YGOPro program itself, rather than just to the AI scripts) to fix.

got the latest version of the experimental AI:

kozmo ai uses kozmojo to remove cards from grave like a useless monster(summoned skull) or a spell/trap card that has no in grave effect(red-eyes fusion/red-eyes spirit) rather than a monster whose stats outclass any monster on they're field(Black Dragon Archfiend, Falling meteor Black dragon, or red-eyes Darkness Metal dragon).

ai uses emergency teleport to summon a farmgirl when it has no monster in hand it can summon with its effect, or has no way to inflict battle damage with it, causing it to banish itself the end phase for nothing.

ai doesn't use kozmojo on a monster on my field even if it's the only thing keeping it from winning(first of the dragons) and continues to go for cards in the grave.

Kozmojo's target selection was changed. Will be fixed in the next AI version.

Deck out bug is fixed in the latest version. Crashes should be improved, but we haven't fixed it 100% yet. Still working on it.

All of these are part of the same issue. If you have the latest AI version and are running on Win7, this should not happen. There seems to be an issue on Win10, causing this bug to show up again, and on mobile as well. We are working on a solution. This bug only happens, if you play against an AI deck, that is supposed you let you go first, and you lose the RPS. Kozmos, Harpies, Blackwings, Shaddolls and Gladbeasts are affected.

I have a hard time finding a generic logic covering everything. I did emphasize more def mode before, this caused a lot of missed lethals and people were upset about that as well. It is almost impossible for the AI to keep track of its available removal options, so basing the position on the possibility to remove stronger opponent's cards is very hard for me. I might be able to implement some slight improvements, but don't expect it to work 100% to your liking anytime soon.

Floodgates are hard for the AI to handle, because the AI doesn't "know", how much a certain card will impact the AI's strategy or options. Some floodgates are defined as priority targets, like Vanity's Emptiness. But others might be beneficial to leave up in some situations, and judging these situations takes a lot of experience and skill, almost impossible to do by an AI.

If you have suggestions for floodgates to be removed whenever possible, feel free to list them, so I can add them as priority targets.

new note: ai used 2 level 7 forunners to xyz summon gaia dragon the thunder charger when the opponent(me) had no monsters or spells/traps on the field and the forerunners in question had NOT attacked.

P.S: in regards to what you asked in the last post, i doubt i could reliably reproduce the gus in question since they caught me by surprise. and as for the floodgates. the one si tend to use that the au doesn't pay attention to are rivalry of warlords and grave of the super ancient organism.

new note: ai after attacking with it banished farmgirl to summon dark witch during the battle phase(interesting but not the problem) and without even using that dark witch to attack, banished it to summon eclipser.(to clarify i had no monsters on my field)

The Kozmo extra deck is not used very well at all, need to work on that.

You can try to create similar situations by using pre-stacked decks for yourself and the AI, and using the no shuffle option.

Well, some AI decks are hardly hindered by Rivalry or Grave, so for those, it would probably not make sense to prioritize those floodgates. I'll need to come up with a logic for that, I guess.

Yeah, that is a strange bug. My code specifically checks for any monsters still able to attack, before using the summon effects to maximize battle damage. But in some situations, it just detects monsters as being unable to attack, even though that is clearly false. Haven't found a solution yet.

Hi Snarky, first, thank you for create a AI wich is very competitive (compared with Ai in Yugioh original games), i have a bit problem, its for "replay" mechanic, heres a example:
My oponent control 1 monster and i control 1 Spellcaster monster, AI enter the Battle and declare attack to my monster, when hes attack, i activate "Illusion Magic" tributing my monster and resolve my spell. NORMALY, a replay occurs, my oponent can declare a direct attack, but the AI end the Battle Phase, this happen with similar cards that tribute monsters when they are about to attack, the AI dont use the replay. Please fix it, sometimes is unfair XD.

I'm tired of the game crashing with a memory access violation sometimes when I'm trying to play my first card or later on in the duel. Here is the disassembly where it crashed:

This bug has been there for years and it is very annoying. Since it only seems to happen against the AI I'm posting this here. Please fix this.

Hi, I found some things when playing against AI:
- when I play Ojama Trio, the AI sometimes tributes only one monster (its own, not a token) for a monster that needs two tributes. For some reason it only happens for the Blue-eyes White Dragon in Kaibas Deck. Maybe it has something to do with the issue that it wants to tribute the tokens?
- If I have a face-down Monster lying and the AI has a monster with less than 1500ATK, it only attacks the face-down monster if it can beat it. Not sure if it does the same with monsters with exactly 1500ATK, but for less than 1500ATK it does it. I know this is not really a bug, but it seems as if the AI knows how much DEF my monster has and thus decides to (not) attack.
- Nobleman of Extermination: If no other set spell/trap is on the field, the AI sets it and immediately activates it on itself (then going to the grave, but this should be correct then I think because the targeted card is face-up). I couldn't find any AI deck with this card in it, so it's not really a big problem, but maybe it's something not hard to implement?

A last point (not a bug, just something I realized): The AI always sets field spells immediately before it activates them. Because of the third point, maybe it does always set spells and then immediately activates them? If so, this could be an issue when Denko Sekka is on the field.

I see I'm not the only one who has noticed that the AI seems to be "peeking" at the player's monsters lately. If anything, that seems to have become more prevalent in the last few experimental versions. It seems to happen most often when the AI is using the Majespecters, but that may just be because the nature of that deck means that Majespecter Raccoon and Majespecter Crow come out so often. It's definitely not exclusive to the Majespecters, though.

Hi, found 2 issues with the ai:
1 - Phantom knight's fog blade : the ai sometimes uses 2 blades on the same monster. Also , this card is found in the ai_burningabyss deck.
2 - Amazoness ambush + Queen : the ai will suicide monsters to attack my guys , ignoring ambush. I think you already mentioned this in the first post, when talking about catastor.

There's this weird issue I found. I'm not even sure it's an issue.

Whenever I play against the AI's Nekroz deck it doesn't use Nekroz Mirror. It searches it out but then keeps it in their hand without plating it. I've had duels where it spends turns doing absolutely nothing even though it has Mirror in it's hand.
