https://github.com/Fluorohydride/ygopro  and is built in Mountain Lion version 10.8.

I decided to attempt the port yet again, because there have been so many reports that the latest V5 version is causing trouble with Wineskin. I finally managed to create a working build in the last few days.

My test environment is running in a virtual machine. Unfortunately OpenGL doesn't work on it and the only way for me to start Ygopro is using a software renderer. All of this makes the game unplayable.. So I cannot test a duel.

It would be appreciated if users with OSX 10.7 Lion or higher can test it out (It does not work on earlier versions yet). Leave a message on this topic if you are interested. (Don't send me PM's please)

The following features version of 1.032 V5 Percy will be added in the upcoming week.
  • Sound and music
  • AI mode
  • Built-in server browser
  • Deck edit enhancements
  • Screen resizing

Here are some screenshots of the game in action. They look awful because of the lack of OpenGL support.

That was considered, but kind of hard to do with zero ios experience. I am waiting for the release of ygopro2 by Fluorohydride first. Before investing in another large project.

Where did you get information about ygopro2 release ? I heard about it a while ago, but nothing from Fluorohydride himself.

I think (or hope) Fluorohydride drop unportable Irrlicht (and not so good) for opengl for drawing function
This make ygopro2 portable on many OS/Device 🙂 and maybe fix graphics problems

Hopefully a lot of new features will be added.

I know this may not be the place to ask, but, do you happen to know if the script engine will be backwards-compatible with the previous version's scripts?

I didn't hear anything about a release either. Just speculation based on looking at the source code.

If it is something you are seriously considering, I think android would be easier to develop for.

Hey Percy, I got 10.8.5 Mountain Lion.

I've been using YGOPro for a while, but been going back to DN due to FPS issues, but I would be happy to help test it.

I'll try to report FPS issues, crashes, and bugs.
