No banlist prediction topic for the next format yet, so I thought I'd make one.

I'm interested to know your banlist predictions and how they compare to the official list, so if you have them, post them here!

Here's mine:

Newly Forbidden
Nekroz of Trishula - Nekroz have dominated the meta since their introduction. Hitting Unicore means TCG would be following the OCG's lead, and they don't want that, so this instead. At least White Trishula was unbanned.
Performage Trick Clown - Poor design, self-interaction, and released as a common in both TCG and OCG means this will get the Baby Dragon Ruler insta-ban treatment. Also, hitting this means several other cards can avoid being hit (Mathematician, Norden, Foolish Burial, Brilliant Fusion, Thousand Blades), and other cards can possibly move down the list (Chain, Foolish Burial again).
Wavering Eyes - Was mass-released as a promo. Hitting this means TowersTurbo.ydk is no more, and pendulum mirror duels are no longer decided by whoever successfully resolves this card first.

Newly Limited
Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss - Sharing the meta domination with Nekroz, BA gets some hits.
Denko Sekka - Cold Wave on legs isn't healthy for the game. Now that it's been reprinted, this can safely be hit.
Satellarknight Altair - What a terrible night to have a Worlds Curse. With this to 1, Stellarnova Alpha'ing a Delteros or Triverr forces them to summon a sub-par target.
Shaddoll Fusion - Sorry Yamixrei, but the Mega-Tins with all the reprints have finished selling, and it's time to move on.
El Shaddoll Fusion - It's really time to move on. Besides, Polymerization is still a card.
Stellarnova Alpha - Worlds Curse intensifies.

Newly Semi-Limited
Allure of Darkness - With the DUEA dark decks out of the meta picture, this can give a small boost to current lower-tier and upcoming dark decks, or other decks that like sending their entire hand to grave.
Compulsory Evacuation Device - Majespecters? Kozmos? PSY-Frames? Never heard of them.
Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss - Limiting this would kill the deck, but at 3 it's too strong. So here's a healthy medium.
Ring of Destruction - Its new errata means running more than 1 in a deck will more than likely render the 2nd copy a dead draw.

Newly Unlimited
Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En - Continuing its path down the list. Did nothing at 2, will do nothing at 3 considering Gateway is still banned. Besides, it's Synchro Arc in ARC-V.
Dragon Ravine - Same here.
Chaos Sorcerer - He's known for moving around the banlist, and it's been a while since he last moved.
Tragoedia - It's nice that Konami decided to test him at 2. I think the test was a success, so he can go to 3 now.

Yay, a banlist prediction thread! I was missing these. Here's mine:

Forbidden

Raigeki (While it's not doing anything, I think Konami will re-ban this card.)

Limited

Nekroz Cycle (It is limited in the OCG. With Djinn banned, Nekroz is quite harmless. It's easy to stop Trishula, but Nekroz Cycle allows you to recycle Trish, which is the main problem. Banning Trish is not the solution. It's analogous to banning Towers. It's better to hit the cards that help Trish.)
Nekroz of Unicore (Almost all Nekroz recipes use 3x and limiting it slows them down. It's limited in OCG.)
Cir, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss (stops floodgates in BA which is tier 1 meta in both tcg and ocg.)
Graff, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss (stops floodgates in BA which is tier 1 meta in both tcg and ocg.)
Satellarknight Altair (stops floodgates. Tellarknights won Worlds 2015 because of this card.)
El Shaddoll Construct (While both Shaddoll Fusion and El Shaddoll Fusion are limited in OCG, I think that's a bit excessive. Construct is even banned. I think the only hit here (if any) is Construct. Shaddoll is a not even tier 1 for me and I don't think tcg should hit it.)

Semi-Limited

Nothing

Masked heroes, Ritual Beasts, Infernoids, Kozmo, Monarchs, and Qliphort not mentioned. In the OCG, shadow mist got limited. I don't think it will happen in TCG. Ritual Beasts, Infernoids, and Kozmo are easy to side against. Monarchs have not reached tcg yet and are also easy to side against. Qliphort is not a big deal. In all honesty, the only decks that need to be hit in the next list are BA, Nekroz, and Tellarknight. The rest don't matter. Note that I picked Cir and Graff, not Scarm. This is because Cir and Graff are floaters, while Scarm is a searcher. Hitting Performages is too early. Banning trick clown is excessive and limiting won't do anything. Damage Juggler may get limited, but I don't think so.

Well I forgot about Norden, that might be banned, but I think it's too early in tcg. I don't expect too many changes, just hits to BA, Nekroz, and maybe Tellarknights. That's all.

That's one I should have put on my list.

Nekroz have been Tier 1 for a long time, and Konami likes to rotate their high-tier decks. So I'm predicting either that or limit both Unicore and Brionac as the OCG did, but the TCG likes to be edgy and different, and hit other cards instead. I'm thinking it will be that.

You should consider Tellarknights first before putting all the hate on Raigeki.
