For discussion purposes. That's the entire point of a forum thread.

In any case, it's best to not get too attached to old and outdated rules, as they can suddenly get removed from and updated within Ygopro without warning.

Edit: I also don't understand why people continue to think that the 8-year old Synchro mechanic is considered "new"? [:confu:]

I think there's also the issue that allot of people consider "old school" to be any decks without Synchro, XYZ and Pendulum. Cool, I'll use Monarchs or Nekroz then...
