AI goes first: sets three cards.
I go second: I set Dimension Guardian on the field, then I summon Red Resonator, and then special summon Holding Arms = Powered Inzektron. Immediately in this Main Phase 1 the AI activates Ring of Destruction, and I now have 5500 life points and no monster! What the hell.

Also in my hand I have Speedroid Menko, Mirror Resonator, and Plaguespreader Zombie. I have 14 cards left in my extra deck after I synchro summoned Inzektron. Can someone explain to me what the hell is happening?

Inzektron's effect activates, the AI can chain Ring of Des to its effect and destroy it before the protection effect resolves
