Hi all, new here.

Would anyone be able to post an active link to download the database etc? I have tried the linksof the main page for Windows but they don't appear to be working for me.

Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by not working?

Are you unable to download them or do they not work when you have downloaded them?

The two mirrors should be working fine.

Yes, it seems to download ok. It's just when I go click on the selected file after the download has completed, I get a message along the lines of "download failed".

I'll try running the mirror files again and see what happens / see the exact error message that I am getting.

this happens if the connection is dropped during the download,
please install firefox and the downthemall plugin for firefox.
then try the direct link with downthemall.
the filesize is about 300MB.
please check that you have enough space on disk

When I tried to download it with Windows, I received a message after downloading it: - "activation failed", so hopefully this Firefox / downthemall will work for me.

The download has completed via the the downthemall add on. However, when I click on "open file", I get the "application failed" alert again.

Any further ideas, please? Do I need to click something else? Just as an FYI: file size of this one is: 508.22MB

You have to extract the file using WinRar or 7Zip before you can use the program.
