I'm looking to hold a charity Riding Duel Tournament.
If I can get approval for this I can plan more.

As of this moment if I can get it going the prize so far is a game mat signed by LittleKuriboh.
More to come more then likely and the money I'm aiming to raise will go to Child's Play charity.

I'm not worried about bugs, a lot of people fanbase wise are okay with dealing with bugs.
So I'm pretty sure people would be okay with still entering a tournament.

no the game cant be fun when u start a duel and during the duel the fucking game is dissconnect from the server and you get a Free lose and some idiot get the win by random DC -.-!! [:wall:] [:wall:]

You are getting a lot of disconnections ULose? What server are you playing on?

I play on the Europe and US servers and never get any disconnections.

Tournaments are always fun, do you have any special rules for this tournament?

Weird, I haven't had that issue.
It only crashs for me after the duel has ended.

im playing on checkmate server the linux one and im just angry because i was +70 and now im on -22 and not because i lose to any of this noobs its because the server get me autoDC and then im losing score by this shit.
im on my loop account btw and im afraid keep dueling for get agian auto lose like this!

Please contact checkmate with your issues I am sure he will help you. Or post in a new thread to get help.

This tournament will most likely be on the US or Europe servers (I am guessing) as you can make rooms for people to join.

Riding Duel meeans Speedworld 2? if thats correct you cant host tournaments with anime cards i think.

To start a tournament all you need to do is get players and start it yourself, you do not need to ask permission.

since this is a charity event there should not be any awards that can be sold or buying anything higher than the charity event. i am worry about how this will turn out, not just the events but how we can try to keep it in a low sponsoring where konami won't interfere and shut down the event.

I got good friends at Konami I can talk to them about any issues regarding legal matters.
I can run it by them and see if they are okay with it or not.

if they aren't just won't do it, given Im planning this about two months in advance.
I know Konami doesn't mind doing charity events also, especially child's play as they are a gaming company.

Edit: Just to be on the safe side I wrote my friends and also their legal department regarding the matter.

I stayed up a extra hour, and emailed him and everything.
