The deck’s main focus is around Ectoplasmer and using its effect to deal direct damage to your opponent. Using this effect on your own Malice Doll of Demise, its effect returns it to the field in the end phase so you can keep recycling it whilst your opponent’s monster will be gone permanently. Combining this with Infected Mail allows your monsters to attack your opponent’s life points directly; allowing you to quickly reduce their life points. As most of your monsters have low attack points, Messenger of Peace keeps you safe from enemy attacks. To maximise this, the deck also uses burn cards such as Ookazi and Stealth Bird. With 3 Dark Magic Curtain, you can get DM on the field quickly and with three copies of Thousand Knives, you should be in a position to quickly clear the field.
Bandit KeithZera To Infinity – Signature Card (Zera The Mant)Very similar to Bandit Keith’s deck when he was possessed by Marik with a few extra cards added such as Soul Taker and Allure of Darkness. Key card is obviously Zera The Mant. With three copies of Tribute To The Doomed, you can clear the field of troublesome monsters before summoning Zera. A pretty accurate deck from the anime.
BonzArmageddon – Signature Card (Demise & Ruin)This deck is very similar to the TCG Ritual Deck of Bonz I posted before, but with this being traditional format, this deck adds the Djinn Releasers which obviously makes it stronger. If you can get Demise or Ruin on the field quickly enough through Djinn Releaser, you can lock your opponent’s special summons.
Joey WheelerArmed Metal Dragon – Signature Card (Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon)With three copies of Poly in this deck, there’s plenty of chances to get Thousand Dragon out but if you’re like me, I’d much prefer to use Time Wizard’s effect for field clearance. With three copies, you should have plenty of chances to do so. Whilst equipping Red-Eyes with Metalmorph looks cool, the fact you can only summon it from the deck made it slightly annoying as I ended up drawing it in my hand all too often and so was no use to me. This can be a fun deck if the luck goes your way, it just didn’t go my way that often! Beyond Red-Eyes and Time Wizard, this deck incorporates many of Joey’s traditional monster cards.
Rocket Powered – Signature Card (Rocket Warrior)Despite the name of the deck being “Rocket Powered”, I didn’t have much use for Rocket Warrior in this deck, unless I was using him wrong! Time Wizard again seems to be the main card along with Baby Dragon. Garoozis and Legendary Fisherman seems abit random for this deck and just clogged my hand up. I was going to add Insect Queen to that list but she bailed me out in my last match xD.
Shield & Swords – Signature Card (Shield & Sword)Although the signature card is Shield and Sword here, I came to many points in a duel where I just didn’t want to use it. Apart from Red-Eyes, none of the other cards have a decent defence really so it just didn’t make sense for me to activate it as it would only help my opponent out. Same as the last couple of decks, Time Wizard is your best shot, providing you get the luck.
Twin Battleguards – Signature Card (Lava & Swamp Battleguard)If you can get multiple Battleguards on the field at the same time, it can really boost their attack and can overwhelm your opponent. With 3 Soul Exchange and 2 Cost Down, it should be fairly easy to get them out. Sogen gives them a nice attack boost as well. Time Wizard is there to clear the field when needed.
Mai ValentineHarpie Lady 1 – Signature Card (Harpie’s Pet Dragon)A standard Harpie deck but boosted with cards such as Harpie’s Feather Duster.
Harpie Lady Sisters – Signature Card (Harpie Lady)Pretty similar to the one above as you would expect, No Harpie’s Pet Dragon this time. Beyond that, not much difference!
Harpie Lady – Signature Card (Harpie Lady)Similar to the above two, but this deck adds some field spell support in Harpie’s Hunting Ground and Mountain to take advantage of the Harpie’s swarming ability.
PegasusEntering Toon World – Signature Card (Toon World)Accurate Pegasus anime character deck focused on Toons with some extra support. I like the combo of Relinquished and Safe Zone, swallow up your opponent’s monster and there’s not much your opponent can do. Just be careful as your equipped monster can’t be destroyed either in this case so make sure you swallow a decent beatstick before activating it.
Rex RaptorRed-Eyed Dinosaurs – Signature Card (Red-Eyes Black Dragon)Not tested this deck yet but seems like a standard Dinosaur deck with Rex’s ace (Dragon) cards thrown in. Gilasaurus, Red-Eyes Chick and Soul Exchange should make it easier to get Red-Eyes and Serpent Night Dragon out. Wasteland and Dragon Treasure will give a nice attack boost.
Seto KaibaCrushing Victory – Signature Card (Shadow Spell)This deck look awfully similar to Kaiba’s Duelist Kingdom deck with normal support thrown in. Summoner’s Art and Ancient Rules should get Blue-Eyes out fairly quickly. With three copies of Saggi The Dark Clown, you might be able to pull of the Crush Card combo.
Legendary Blue-Eyes – Signature Card (Blue-Eyes White Dragon)Similar to the deck above, Judge Man gives you an extra target for your Ancient Rules and Summoner’s Art. Not much more to say!
The Ultimate Dragon – Signature Card (Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon)Finally, a Kaiba deck with Ultimate Blue-Eyes in! As you’d expect, abit more Blue-Eyes support with White Stone of Legend, 3 copies of Fusion Sage and Poly should make it easier to get Ultimate Blue-Eyes out.
Weevil UnderwoodInsect Queen – Signature Card (Insect Queen)Allot of monsters (29) in this deck which means you can get bad hands at times. Main strategy is to get Insect Barrier and DNA Surgery on the field to stop your opponent from attacking at all. Then use Pinch Hopper’s effect to summon Insect Queen VERY easily and due to her effect, become the strongest monster in play. With 29 monsters in the deck though, as I said, you will often run into cards you just don’t want at that time. Still, when you do pull the combo off, it is quite satisfying. Not must protection besides Insect Barrier so expect to be vulnerable at times.
Yami YugiDark Magician Girl – Signature Card (Dark Magician Girl)Yami Yugi deck centered around Dark Magician and DM Girl with 2 Sage Stone and 3 Dark Magic Curtain. Contains standard cards that Yami used.
Fire The Catapult – Signature Card (Catapult Turtle)Interesting deck, built around Catapult Turtle. With three copies of Gaia, Curse of Dragon and Poly, you should get Gaia the Dragon Champion out quickly, then either use Catapult Turtle’s eff to fire Gaia at your opponent’s lifepoints or just attack if the coast is clear. Swords of Revealing light is there to protect your catapult when vulnerable. The deck also runs 3 Mother Grizzly allowing you to quickly get Catapult Turtle on the field.
The Ceremonial Duel – Signature Card (The God Cards)Unlike the previous Yugi God Card deck I posted yesterday, I can this deck being better at getting the God Cards on the field. Using cards like Tricky, Fiend’s Sanctuary and King’s Queen’s and Jack’s Knight, you should swarm the field quickly, allowing you to summon the Gods easily.
The Fiend’s Sanctuary – Signature Card (Slifer & Obelisk)Deck built around Slifer and Obelisk. The deck runs 3 Fiend’s sanctuary and three copies of Queen’s and Jack’s Knight which should get them on the field quickly. Using cards like Brain Control and Soul Taker to use opponent’s monsters for sacrifice is never a bad thing. The deck runs Buster Blader so a possibility to get Dark Paladin out, but I often found either Buster Blader or Poly to be dead in my hand.
