On the 3th turn when it was attacking, when it is summon by banishing monsters i can't use spells only the traps

You only have Book of Moon down and you are not allowed to Set any cards due to Dark Simorgh.

i set the book of moon on my turn and when it attacked on the 3th turn i was not able to use it only the trap was asking me plus want i looked at it on my turn i was not able to use it.

Your opponent controlled Dark Simorgh? Then that's why. Book of Moon sets a monster, and Dark Simorgh stops its opponent from setting cards.

"The effect of "Dark Simorgh" prevents the opponent from both Setting cards from his hand and Setting cards by a card effect."

Oh... it was ruling thing and i was wrong thanks for the info. "dark simorgh" is really old and i didn't know flip face down and set were the same thanks for the info
