A friend of mine (who's not in this forum) had been rank 1 with 3400+ score for quite a while (Username Thegar66), but suddenly earlier today his score dropped to 1400+ and his rank also dropped to 1300+.

He got confused so he asked me to write in this forum to get the answer.

Mr. Checkmate your answer would be much appreciated, thanks.

About 18 days ago I have been discussing with a user on this forum (bigattck) about the possibility of cheating the rating system on the linux server.
After that I partially disabled the anti-cheat systems for some users and I begun actively watching all the activity in the server.
That user caught my attention since his first duels, he created a lot of dummy accounts and started playing against his own accounts to get a better rating.
I checked his activity every day to see how far he could go.
Yesterday I restored his score to an accepable state and re-enabled the anti-cheat system for all users.
He has been working on this activity for days! lol! []
I waited for so long also to make him understand that he wasted days if not weeks because I am here and I can delete all his work in a single mouse click.

I am going to submit this story to all my nerd friends. this will surely make them laugh []

LOOOL that's quite a story! I'll tell him first thing in the morning. Thanks anyway for the answer! []

EDIT: So I've told him. He admitted that he made five accounts and realized he could play against the dummies to increase his rating.
He did told me sometimes in the past about the possibility of using dummy accounts; and I advice him not to do it for the sake of fair competition and since I was quite sure Checkmate would notice. After that he never said anything about this again.
Just now he said he didn't do it everyday; only after he reached rank 1 because apparently it was hard to get an opponent after he reached that position (he said he hosted for two hours and no one appeared), and he feared that his score would automatically dropped if the account wasn't used for a certain amount of times.
Is there something more that I should tell him, Checkmate?
