I was playing Necloths today and tried a certain combo. I activated Kaleidomirror and sent Shooting Quasar Dragon from the Extra Deck to summon two Necloths of Brionac. Then I overlaid them for Exa-Beetle, equipped it with SQD and then activated its effect and sent SQD to the Graveyard, hoping to get out Shooting Star Dragon from the Extra Deck using Quasar's effect... but it didn't happen. All conditions were met, Quasar left the field, but I wasn't given the option to summon SSD.
So, is this a bug or is there a ruling I'm missing?

EDIT: Also tried by overlaying Exa-Beetle into Gaia Dragon. Still didn't work. [:wall:]

umm how quasar miss timing with exa?, exa effect target 1 card in each field, then send both to graveyard, since those card sent to graveyard is the last thing to happen quasar shouldnt miss timing?....

Oh I was thinking of a separate card that sends the equip as a cost to destroy.

Just tested and it works fine for me. Please supply a replay.

I had a similiar bug. I summoned Inzektor and then I summoned Gaia Dragon (using Inzektor as material, my opp had no cards on field.) and I sent quaser to grave, but the effect didn't get triggered.

This is actually about missing the timing. See the above link.

Then there is a bug, because when I used it on Absolute Zero, the effect went off and destroyed all my opponent's monsters.

Absolute Zero's effect is mandatory, thus cannot miss timing. Missing the timing only applys to optional effects.

Hm, so, if I overlay into Gaia Dragon and then Quasar gets sent to the Graveyard, it's considered missing the timing since the last thing that happened was Gaia getting summoned? I guess that's fair enough.
Why does this also apply to Exa-Beetle's effect, though? When the two cards get sent to the Graveyard, Quasar's effect should activate. Is this also somehow considered missing the timing?

Yes for the first, no for the second.

If you use Exa-Beetle's effect to send Quasar to the Grave his effect will activate as it did for me when I tested it. Please supply a replay if you are having issues with this.
