It used to be very powerful in the past, but due to the meta changing and the banlist hitting Hornet and Dragonfly, it's not as good as it once was. It's still a solid archetype, though.
Decks:
Gem-Knight | Worm | Infernoid | Yosenju.

Wow u win against a tellarknight? I've never managed to win them in a single duel (haven't tried match tho), but when it does, I side-decked max c, nekomusume, effect veiler, and soul drain to prevent them 1 turn xyz summon.
Penguin? Seems a good combo since it can return xyz to extra deck, while ghostrick roleswitch can flip it the turn it's set. Gonna check it tomorrow, ty!

Yes other than Qli, have managed to win against every meta with that deck. Well, actually I did win twice vs Qli, but it was just luck. Qli negates lantern and specter since they are unaffected, so I get destroyed by the early onslaught from Qli. Nekroz I can handle surprisingly as long as I have enough defense to survive Trishula. This is only with singles though, with matches, win consistency is even more since I got side deck. For anti-xyz, I like to use flying c, works vs tellarknight. I go for lock and then I can even win by dorklord or burn by lava golem or deckout. 🙂

Ghostricks are a really annoying deck to deal with. Mostly because it has a response to pretty much EVERYTHING you throw at it... The great amount of win conditions(deck out, lockdown, burn, etc.) makes it one of the most flexible decks I know.

Til today, I never fought in a full duel against nekroz (ragequit happens), but I heard nekroz having many weaknesses due to ritual spell card dependent (cursed seal of forbidden spell says hello), and the ritual monsters effect aren't as strong as the precursors monsters (e.g nekroz trishula can't banish if u have either no hand/grave/field)

That's how I beat Necroz with my Drill World deck (Dark World + Drill Warrior - Grapha)

I play pure Ghostricks too!
But I find weird that you use Yuki-Onna and don't use instead Doll. You can do some absurd combos with Doll and Ghostrick Scare or Go-Round. It's difficult to learn how to use her efficiently, but once you learn she makes a lot of difference. I always use two of them into my deck.
But Ghostrick is a deck based a lot on the player skill, and I too have never learned how to use efficiently some cards (i.e. Go-Round), so probably your play style is different from mine :)

I play yuki-onna coz shes good suicide squad when they got their ace cards n u haven't got any of ur traps set (especially ghostrick night). For me, doll effect is unsynergize with ghostrick night (since u must have at least 1 face up monsters, usually the xyz, while doll also flips all ur monsters face down) and will cost u 1 panic every opponents turn, which mayb u don't need to use.) Also note that when ur opponent monsters face-down, they can't xyz or synchro, so my deck purpose is to make them permanently face-down.
Ghostrick go-round=ghostrick witch+continuous book of taiyou which doesn't cost ur normal summon (you can activate this card on ur own battle phase too). If used properly, u can still have ghostrick alive after mirror force.

I love yuki-onna, pure ghostricks users don't use her though, but as an anti-meta card it can shut down many powerful monsters permanently. Everyone knows the scare+night combo, but it's situational and requires more cards. You want to avoid using too many s/t in ghostricks because they can easily be destroyed with so many effect monsters. In a competitive ghostricks deck, there should be few traps and a lot of hand activation.

Even my strategy is to keep my opponent's monsters permanently face-down and I find Doll very useful because, even if she is my only monster and she is destroyed, at the end of my opponent's turn all his monsters are flipped down and I get a special summon that allows me to have advantage the following turn (i.e. I can normal summon a monster because I already control another Ghostrick monster and go straight for an XYZ). After XYZing into Spoiled Angel I get Night and my opponent is locked.
Of course if Doll survives you must almost never flip her up in your turn (she's quite useless, she only has 300 ATK), her effect must be triggered in the opponent turn. You don't need Scare, even Go-Round is enough. But if you have Scare you can flip both her and Jiangshi, get your search (even a Lantern to protect them from any monsters still face up), then Jiangshi is flipped down at the end of the opponent turn, you get a special summon from the deck, and in your turn you get another search from Jiangshi. It's a lot of advantage. And if you used Scare, XYZ using the special summoned monster and the searched monster into Dullahan/Alucard, use them as you like, then before the end of the turn use them to summon Spoiled Angel, detach Dullahan/Alucard and get back your Scare from the graveyard to repeat the combo the following turn plus anything that you searched with Spoiled Angel (I usually get a Vanish to protect my cards).
