Hey guys i want to share you how to build and to play one of my current favourite archetype called "Yosenju" . Maybe you guys already knows this awesome archetype but i just want to share you some insight . So here we go …

Introduction , if you don’t know them , you won’t love them

They are a bunch of WIND attribute Beast-Warriors (L4) and Beast (L6 or higher) that debuted in Tribe Force and The Secret Forces (TCG) later get further support in the Secrets of Eternity(currently OCG) . The main edge of Yosenjus is their L4 monsters which has a quick-effect to normal summon 1 additional Yosenju monster except the one with the same name , plus they are returned to your hand at the end-phase during the turn they are normal summoned . Which seems contra-productive as they no longer in your field to protect your life point . But hey , while doing this you can maintain overall card-advantage and dodging harmful effect like Raigeki and Dark Hole , also you can anticipate this by set one or two defensive backrow which we will discuss .

The Yosenjus common build right now is a Control-Stun deck , the main objective is to disturb your opponent’s rhythm by getting a large field presence consisting of L4 Yosenjus swarm . Then amass large card advantage by the effect of Kama 3 , also at the End Phase by returning them back to your hand , plus preventing your monsters from many form of removal at your opponent’ turn . Stun aspect of the deck is to let your opponent do certain action , but if they are doing something unexpected you will have to stun them by using your backrows , so as long as you stay in the game in right way your opponent should be running in circle or despaired in your stun , Trolololololol …

Why Yosenju ?

Disadvantages of Playing Yosenju

Wow nice guide man, today i precisely wanted to start building a yosenju deck and this guide gave lots of useful tips and ideas, a tricky card that i was testing with the Yosenjus is Ectoplasmer, since the kamas return to the hand before the effect of Ectoplasmer you are not forced to tribute something and it puts more pressure on the opponent, of course is a very risky card specially mid and late game, since you are going to receive damage from the tributes of your opponent each turn and if you dont play carefully you can be forced to tribute your other generic monsters leaving your field even more empty, im still building my deck so i really need to test, but whats your opinion? do you think is viable to use with the yosenjus??

What Yosenju does:

  1. Summon all the Kamas
  2. Bounce back a card with Kama 1
  3. Attack
  4. Get Kama 3 Search
  5. Set cards
  6. Get all the Kamas back
  7. Repeat until you're bored to death.

Also, most of the builds I've seen don't use the Secret Move. The reason is simple, they don't have the Yosenju cards on the field in order to activate it.

i have tested ectoplasmer , it seems the only one get - is us because not only we take the battle damage but also have to tribute one of our yosenju if we have more than one , except the 1st one summoned , just use Santa Claws

Did you know that we have pendulum monster right that should be solve the Secret Move problem . Also that usual play of yosenju is the most optimal case , our opponent will have one or two counter-measure to that right ?
