Ive been playing with the AI a lot since it came out. Here are some of the bugs i have encountered.

1. Whenever there is a monster that cannot be destroyed by battle, the AI attacks that monster over and over again. Even if you have other monsters set on the field it will not try and attack them. It will only attack the face up monster that does not get destroyed by battle. Spirit Reaper and Marshmallon.

2. Ive seen the AI set a trap or magic card on the field then use Heavy storm or MST on its own magic or trap card.

3. The AI also seems like its trying to use every effect or card immediately as soon as it has the chance to do it. Once it had Thunder king rai-oh on the field and it special summoned something else and used its own Thunder king rai-oh to negate the summon leaving him with no monster on the field. Another is using Abyssmegalos effect to attack twice by tributing a water monster on the field, when there is another card on the field or monsters effect that will not let him attack, like threatening roar or gravity bind.

These are all for now, ill keep posting as i find them. Im really happy that there is a mode where you can play against the computer now. Thank you very much for all your hard work. [:thumbu:]

I have also seen a similar problem. AI had 3 set cards, so i just summoned a monster and set a trap. At my EP, AI use all 3 set cards it had: namely, 3 MSTs to get rid of my own.

Also, when I summoned Rai-Oh, as soon as it got in the field, AI Effect veiled it for no reason. Though I'd understand if it was any other monster with passive effects, in Rai-Ohs case, veiling it has no use, so gotta fix that as well.

2 turns in a row, it summoned LVL eater in face-up attack, instead of face-down def, at a point where it could use other monsters it had in hand

Currently there isn't a way to detect if such a monster has battle invincibiity yet so I'll try adding in a list of monsters for the AI to not attack when face-up.

As for #2, which AI script did you select? Something like that shouldn't happen in ai.lua. If that's the case I'll try to hunt down and fix that bug.

I think #3's going to be haunting the AI mode for a while yet, at least until enough cards can be implemented.

Thanks for trying it and posting feedback. Always appreciated []
