Are there currently any tournaments running, just for fun, want to see how some of my decks measure up to others, non-meta preferably.

There were a few people who tried to organize something, but there wasn't enough interest. Right now the forum community isn't big enough and YGOPro is still in its development stage, lacking features that support tournaments.

You'll just have to wait a few months for things to kick into high gear. Until then the Checkmate server is the most competitive space to duel in.

From what I know, though, some people use YGOPro to have local tournaments over LAN.

Well, actually, if I were to run a tourney in YGOPro, I would issue a custom banlist. Would probably limit all cards to 1 and ban some others. [:dance:]
