So has anyone played this game yet? Just from watching youtube videos, it seems like a much better game than tag force special. I hope it becomes available for pc because I don't own any consoles.

Yes Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist for sure is far better than tag force special because have some monster summon-attack animations, more available characters and better duel gameplay full of great effects[:thumbu:] but perhaps is not so amazing compare to other tag force games like tag force 6 for example because probably Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist have not avatar animations I am afraid!![] Also I personal little hate the Legacy of the Duelist series because I hear for old ones that have a very poor and weak ai!![] I hope this game have a better ai!![]
Unfortunately like the most games the companies release for no emulator consoles they have many reasons to not release this game for pc knowing that on pc this game is probably was very easy to play for free though if this game sales going very well then there is a very little possibility to release it for pc after all like they already do with some other games like far cry 4 for example!![]

The only support Konami gives to PC are online only stuff that they pull within a year.

Looking at what happened with Duel Arena, I would not touch a single game put out by them for Pc ever.

Well let's face it, the AI will never be that good. It's actually sad that Azneyes on youtube is using a Lightsworn deck to beat all the opponents in story mode. I used to play the GBA games and they were fun. I created my own decks, no standard decks. Single player is meant to try new strategies, it's not meant to be a challenge.

The only time Konami released a game for the pc which was good was Yugioh Online. Then, they unexpectedly canceled it. There were more than 2 million registered accounts in that game and Konami had more than enough profit coming in. Nobody knows the real reason why they canceled it. Every game they've made after that has sucked.

All people want is a game like ygopro by Konami, but with avatar and monster animations. It's too bad they didn't release Legacy of the Duelist for pc or mobile devices. Then people would actually pay $20 for it. Not everyone owns a PS4/XB1.

Mmm personal for me a game who have the ai for tag force 5 and 6, the avatars animations for yugioh online and the monster animation for Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist probably it was the most cool yugioh game konami ever can be release[:thumbu:] but the hole point is that I am afraid that anymore the most users not really interesting to much to spend money only in order to play a yugioh game with avatars and monster animations or for extra features like story mode for example!![] Perhaps a yugioh game who offline you allow you to challenge computer players for free and unlock cards and avatars staff and on online you must spend original money in order to find an opponent and duel him with the cards and avatars staff you collect so far via ofline mode it was a very interesting idea for a pc game without konami worry about hack actions[] though still remain the problem about how many users actually going really to spend money only and only to challenge someone with avatars and monster animations!![]

There was no hacking in Yugioh Online. You needed a boosterpass to get points to duel. There was no way to hack that. What people did was scam new players to trade their valuable cards for unvaluable cards. This happens in every online game though. Trading for items/cards becomes a business. "Hacking" is merely stealing other people's account password information. This only happens when people are stupid to type their password on another site. Some people did this and got all their cards stolen and then complained to Konami. Maybe recurrent reports of this caused Konami to shut down Yugioh Online. There was no hacking for BP or during duel otherwise.

Which is why I wish, YGOPro would be updated more, and with things other than just card updates. YGOPro is in a prime position to be the number 1 dueling program, even more so than something Konami could bring out. It just needs more work, and for Percy to let more people help him out on it.

Animations cannot be added to ygopro even if Percy has a 100 different people help. They would have to create a whole new ygopro game that's not based off of lua. Lua doesn't allow for video animations in any format, not even gif.

The cards are fine in lua, but the executable doesn't have to be. You could write Ygopro in any language you wish, and just let it parse lua to use all the existing scripts  This should let you have freedom for anything from 3D models to full fledged friends lists and any feature really.

Probably you have right and to tell you the truth i don't know the original reasons why konami must force to close yugioh online!![:confu:] Yutube videos who prove 100% that there are hack programs in order to download cards and avatar staff for yugioh online free are probably fake full with virus programs like a lot of videos who it suppose to prove that there is a working 3ds and ps4 emulator anyway!![:thumdn:] Also notice lately that there are yutube videos for hack actions on a card game called heartstone!! Well let's see if also after some months later we actually hear anything about heartstone was closed for unknown reasons too lol!![]

I bought this game at the weekend and my first impressions are positive. I like how you don't start with a complete card pool of yugioh cards and you have to win duels to get them. Adds abit more replay value. I also like if you beat someone, you get to take three(?) cards in their deck. The attack animations of certain monsters is also a nice touch. It would have been nice to hear the actual voices of the characters. I think this is in some yugioh games just to give it some more life.

Only thing missing is a tournament section but I suppose people can arrange that outside the game on yugioh forums, facebook etc.
