Hey YGO Community.

After a long time of not playing YGO, I recently got myself YuGiOh! ARC V Tag Force Special for my PSP, and I have to say it's really nostalgic seeing the same cards which I played with when I was younger and the library of cards is HUGE.

Last time I looked at YGO was back when I watched YuGiOh! GX years ago and saw some new deck types (Cyber-Dragon,E-Heroes etc...), and back when I played Power of Chaos on my PC with my friends, so the knowledge of cards and the current meta is very limiting to me.

I was looking for advice on the deck I play which is Spell-Counter (Spellcaster) Deck to see which cards might be helpful to me since I'm being destroyed right now in duels in this game and I'd rather not lower the difficulty. The cards which I have are from Spellcaster's Lord of the Magician with a little edit:

Well that's it hopefully anyone of you folk has any suggestions on what to add and remove from this deck.

Also if you think that Spell-Counter Spellcaster decks are "low-tier" or simply weak in this game or maybe current meta feel free to suggest any other one.

Crusader of Endymion  - generates a spell counter for one of your cards, and gains 2500 ATK in doing so, also a level 4 1900atk beatstick on its own.

Frequency Magician  - Gains a spell counter on summon, and lets you expend it to raise the ATK of one your monsters. It is also a tuner monster, which if you want a spell counter deck, then you should be using their synchros too.

Tempest Magician  - A good synchro with OTK potential. It also allows you to generate spell counters for your cards, particularly good with the Arcanite Magicians.

Arcanite Magician  - The boss of the spell counters. He gains 1000 ATK for each spell counter he has, or he can remove a spell counter (from any card you control) to destroy any card your opponent controls, this can be done as many times as you want/can per turn.

Supreme Arcanite Magician  - Arcanite's ultimate form. Still gains 1000 ATK per spell counter he has, but now he can use a spell counter to destroy a card, or draw a card. This can only be done once per turn unfortunately. This is a fusion monster, and easy to bring out with Miracle Synchro Fusion. All it requires is one Spellcaster Synchro and any other spellcaster monster. It also allows you to use material froms your graveyard too.

PS :
1. If you have more budget, you can switch Sunny Pixie with Veiler
2. For more fast gaining counter citadel use 3
3. Night's end is more usefull than Frequency IMO
4. In side you can put Relinquished & Dark Illusion Ritual for Monster Control.

Funny, I've been using the Spellbook engine to fuel my spell counters. Spellbooks search like mad, and you can get way more counters off them then old stuff like Power Grasp. They also have some decent effects too.

I can easily set up for 10k burn damage with Tempest using Spellbooks.
