Hi

I'm writing a new tool called "deck stealer".
It is able to extract the deck files from a replay.
Let me know if it works.

The url is:

it works good except when writing the deck file you might want to make it enter a newline after each code btw how did you decrypt the replays i have been trying to find a way for ages

the replay has some data compressed with the lzma algorithm.
I reused the code found in the ygopro source code in the directory "gframe/lzma".
Then I read the replay using php and the headers from the file gframe/replay.h

Well, this is surprising, considering people have been asking for the exact opposite.

People want their decks hidden during replays so no one can steal them

simply untrue.
how can you play a yu gi oh duel without showing your deck?

-Player A sets a card
-Player B places a monster face-down
-Player A places a monster face-down because he doesn't want to show his card to the opponent
-player B does nothing because his deck is copyrighted
-player A doesn't activate his set card because he doesn't want to reveal his deck
[...] Turn 50, the game is still stalled
[...] Turn 500, both players die.

i've stopped have a serious duel because of this thing (not this deck stealer feature, but after seeing this, it makes me really didnt want to do serious duel, thanks 🙂 ), and start makin custom cards instead, just saying.

no need to comment to my post here, i wont answer your comment of this post anyway 🙂

As much as I admire your programming skills checkmate, but I'm highly against this one.
People who wanna copy decks from replays should at least have some time copying themselves and search the cards.

Just saying... :l

Life is full of surprises. [] Soon everyone might found out that they were wrong about many things because of their self proclaimed superiority while in reality they were allowed to think they achieved it..better double check to make sure. []
