For example when my opponent's monster attacks I can't activate Magic Cylinder or Sakuretsu armor even though there are no cards in the field that negates trap cards.

Do you have any replays and turn count of when you could not activate the effects?

sadly i don't have any replays of it. it doesn't happen quite often but there are times when i really can't activate trap cards especially during my opponent's battle phase. especially life-saver cards like magic cylinder, sakuretsu armor, compulsory evacuation device, spellbinding circle, etc. i double checked but there are no cards on the field which prohibits trap cards to be activated.

Some cards do not automatically ask and you will need to press and hold "a" to force them to activate.

But the ones you listed usually ask to activate themselves. If this occurs again please save the replay and attach it to your post with a turn count.

okay, so i found out that it only happens when i use ygopro dual window because sometimes i run 2 clients, go LAN and put up 1 deck against another to see which of them i can utilize well. also sometimes i experience "ygopro.exe has stopped working". this happens during the last turn of the duel when i declare the final attack to finish my opponent (which is myself also). one of the running ygopro client (usually the attacking one) will get "ygopro.exe has stopped working" before calculating the battle damage. is it not advisable to go dual client?

I use two clients a lot for card testing of suspected bugs.

If your computer is not very powerful you may experience problems with running two of them. After the game crashes you can check the event log to find out what caused the crash.
