Doesn't happen very often, but there SHOULD be some double-checking system AGAINST server-induced LAG.
I REALLY hate losing games that way.
The last loss didn't even make any SENSE - I lost due to it being "my chain's time out", yet it still LOOKED Main, while ALL my cards only activated during Battle.
That's one SUPER LAG...

I.LOST.AGAIN.
Except THIS time it was MY OPPONENT's DRAW PHASE of TURN #1 of the GAME.
NO WAY I had ANY cards I could USE.
I demand retribution.
OR fixing it ASAP.

Sorry, forgot to say.
But my entire point was that I kept losing SCORE entirely due to the glitching server.
Anyways, even the error didn't make sense - it wasn't even LAG per se, cause I also lost "by time out", while NOT being even able to activate ANY cards at that moment.
The ABOVE happened during the FIRST Draw Phase of the GAME - a time when NOBODY can activate cards (that I know of; anyways, definitely none like that in my deck).
It's like I quit, yet got the "You lost" message - a self-contradiction itself.
FIX it, seriously...

Demanding fixing server ERRORS?
I have full right to do so - I'm a registered USER (and there's no such thing as PREMIUM here, so I'm at MAX user rights as well).
Also, don't you think that people might start leaving the community, IF such pleas were ignored or barked at (like YOU just did, as in: "shut up and be happy the game exists").
Sorry, but NO - staff (and stuff) is created exactly with giving feedback in mind (which includes NOTING errors and then FIXING them), not to throw it in the users' face.
I also DON'T complain about staff, I merely let them KNOW the existing problem.

Demanding and asking are two separate things. If you had paid lets say $40 for this game then you would have the right to demand they fix it as they sold you something that was not as advertised, i.e. the recent issues Battlefield 4 have been having.

But this is a free game for anyone to enjoy, so you do not demand things of someone who is using their free time to give people something fun for free. You can inform them that they are not working, give them details and ask for it to be fixed. Also not all the servers have this issue, I play in the YgoPro Us/Eu servers and have never had this issue. So it is not like you can not play online at all.

Tl;dr: Be polite.

2. I was wondering, when anyone understands that I was (kind of) joking with "demanding retribution" - mostly cause, like you said, there's NO retribution here to begin with.
But I guess HUMOR is one LACKING sense in this community...

I think you are abusing your privileges because you are getting this game for free without giving anything back to the community.

What I'm about to write is my opinion only and applies only to my servers.
the checkmate server is a project that i developed in my spare time.
It is actively maintained. Each time i publish a new update the build number you see at login goes up.
that said, you are not a developer and you are not a privileged user on my server.
you have NO rights to demand ANYTHING.
Let me explain this better: you are a normal user, and as such you have no rights. only privileges and you can't abuse them. you cannot pretend anything and nobody is forced to listen to your complaints

I noticed the behavior you are reporting on my servers. it is caused by a crappy network connection. my server is more sensitive to lag and glitches on the client side, mainly because the timer starts at 60 seconds.
You have probably noticed that theis glitch/issue happens mainly when in your contry is 16:00 or 4:00PM, because most people start visiting youtube and nowvideo.

this is a small recap of the privileges of the users on my server:

-they built this game. their word is law:
percival18 and steeldarkeagel

-he built the server. his word is law on his server:
checkmate

-privileged users, they can pretend some changes
donators

-have the right to report problems
normal users

-are abusing their rights because they have NO rights

if the server detects a glitch the score is not saved, the score is decreased only when there is a bug caused by the client
