While googling in desperate way to get an improbable leak of the Banlist I found out that on June 21st Konami will realease the Structure Deck Realm Of Light! [:lol:] [:lol:] [:lol:] [:lol:] meaning that Michaeal and two Tuners among the 3 (probably Raiden and Minerva) will finally hit TCG shores! And...... Pause to create suspense......
A NEW SPELL CARD WILL BE RELEASED!!![:lol:] (Haters can hate as long as they want but I won't stop Lolling!) It'll be called "Lightsworn Sanctuary" and it's adressed to one of the Lightsworn Deck weaknesses....
I suppose it'll be something to either stop cards like Skill Drain or Light-Imprisoning Mirror that can completely shut down the Deck OR (and this is what I hope...)It'll be something to have a more controlled mill or maybe be able to send back to Deck milled JDs...
Inb4:I know there's already Dawn Knight for that...
Anyway what do you you guys think?

I hope your right Eps,even though it seems improbable... I'm sick and tired of people saying that LS doesn't need Skill to played if what you predicted is right maybe they'll stop... I hope you're right also cuz I fear terribly the Banlist... So I hope Konami gives us something to keep on using this Deck even if JD ends up on the list... (Please Konami hear my pleading and don't touch my Beloved Dragon [:cry:] )
Anyway I think that with the new support the Deck has become less reliant on JD,yeah Judgment Dragon was,is and will Always be,the card that can turn the tables and can be considered a Win Condition but now with Tuners I find that the Deck relies more also on Lumina,which basically leads to Synchro Spam IMO...

Prudence, a deck that does require skill is, in my opinion, a deck that can shock the opponent. One that's not so much predictable. Sure with the release of the tuners LS will be a little less predictable, but still it will be either Judgment Dragon or Michael.
As for the Milling engine, I think LS have the strongest milling engine in the game. I still prefer milling my deck with a little bit of control(in my first quillbolt loop deck i used LS, milled 3 iron walls in no time).

Yeah I know Lightsworn is not the most unpredictable Deck out there,but there are surely other options other than Michael and JD,there are Beelze,Mist Wurm (Trishula if Konami unbans her in TCG too) now I have added Leo,there's Star Eater,Moonlight Rose Dragon and depending on the kind of build there are also Xyzs monsters so I don't think it's just Michael or JD....Yeah of course out there are also people who don't know what they're and either build the Deck awfully or play it "Old Style" stalling before unleashing JD,that kind of strategy I find to be Skilless....
I think Skill is also how you decide to use a Deck and how you decide to build it...
But I don't wanna argue about this for the nth time this just my opinion...

The only thing I'm kinda mad about is that the geargia support sucks!! And the only playable card, geargiaguer, is more of a machine generic, and I personally don't like the conditions of it. You know, no battle phase and no special summon anything but machines.

About Lightsworn it is hardly be Tier 1.
(in other forum), tournament (match system), if we know that our opponent run any light or dark deck. They will side their deck with 3 x Light Imprisoning-Mirror/Shadow Imprisoning-Mirror.

So Lightsworn deck is good for single duel, but bad for match duel.
I dont know what Prud's opinion as she used LS deck for a long time.

about LS deck need no skill. I hardly agree with this.

I have used LS deck (i copied it from Prud replay) and i dont like with their inconsistency and less defense.
I need to calculate each card that in my grave and any possible move from my hand (and for each my broken heart when see my spell,trap,chaos sorcerer, or bls is send to the grave)
1 wrong move, i have to go with end turn.
And i dont really like with all back row deck.
And make a wrong level calculation to synchro summon.

Ninja, JD rush deck requires 1 skill in particular, reading. Nothing else is needed for this deck to win duels.

off topic: I know right!! So very little love for other archtypes and so much love for lightsworns.

Back to topic: You are right NinjaUgal. You can tech so many things against lightsworns in the side deck, that they could have a really hard time winning the match. I mean yeah the deck can do little against a light-imprisoning mirror, but I have in my side Ally of justice Cycle reader and Decesive Armor for bujins, and after reading your post I figured this works great against lightsworns as well XD.

I would still wait to see the effect of the new spell card that "solves" (or something like that) one of the deck major problems. Which problem? I don't know. The random mill its what first comes into my head. But maybe its like Prudence said already and its for the light-hate cards..
