ok basically i am trying to play my friend on the checkmate server, everytime i challenge them it says "difference between scores is too high, true". this happens regardless if i check ranked or unranked. is there any way around this

ask your friend to play unranked too, then "!challenge -yourfriend",
notice that there is a - sign in front of your friend's username.

so if your username is Alice and your friend's username is Bob, you have to both enter the server as unranked.
your username will become -Alice and your friend's username becomes -Bob.

then type in the chat
!challenge -bob
